The Boat Wednesfield

Our Story

The Boat.
Reborn.

A Black Country local, given the care it always deserved.

The Boat has stood on Church Street, Wednesfield for generations — a familiar face in a familiar neighbourhood.

After a period of closure, we took on The Boat with a clear aim: to give Wednesfield the local it deserves. Not a rebrand, not a chain-pub makeover — a proper pub, done properly, with a bold Indian kitchen at its heart.

We've stripped back and rebuilt where it mattered. The kitchen has been fitted out for serious cooking — fragrant curries, tandoor-fired grills, hand-stretched naans, and bold Indian flavours freshly prepared every day.

The bar is stocked with rotating ales from West Midlands breweries alongside the classics. We look after our taps. And we firmly believe a cold pint and a great curry is one of life's finest combinations.
